The Beatles and Tea
— Sarah Silverman
"This is a death trap. Avoid buying it. You only have seven minutes of air at most and there is no way to unzip it from the inside."
“We ordered this ball for a family vacation. When it arrived, it had no instructions; not one word about how to blow it up or safety precautions or anything. It was just a bunch of very durable looking clear plastic in a box. I emailed the seller to ask for more information and instructions for inflating it. Their response was that they’d get back to me. It’s been 30 days and I still haven’t heard from them.
We did eventually get it inflated using a leaf blower, but the zipper was incredibly hard to zip. However, it was very disconcerting that there was no way to open the ball from the inside. Plus, when someone outside unzipped the ball, the air all rushed out at once and the person inside was enveloped and smashed by the deflating plastic. While getting out it was difficult to keep the ball from being swamped with water and sinking with the person still inside. It was very uncomfortable and scary. Also, there’s only about 5 to 7 minutes worth of air when you’re in the ball. Obviously, we should have thought of that, but that really limits how you can use the ball.
In summary: The company provided no information. It’s hard to blow up and zip up. There are serious safety concerns with running out of air and not being able to open the ball from the inside.
I’m in the process of trying to return the ball now. It does seem very durable and it’s very large, but the fun is definitely limited by lack of oxygen.”
